Artists give their share in noble cause

Painting by artist Miriam Sorrel that will be exhibited at Simon's Pub to raise funds for the Eden Foundation.

Efforts to raise money for the Eden Foundation continue today with an art exhibition held at Simon's Pub, in St Julians. The exhibition will run until May 18 and a percentage of the money raised through the sale of the paintings on display will go towards the cause.

About €6,500 (circa Lm2,800) have already been raised during the annual music marathon held at the St Julians pub in aid of the foundation, which helps children and adults with a disability have a better chance of living independent lives. The exhibition opens this evening and ends on May 18. Works by Pauline Zarb, Benny Brimmer, Miriam Sorrell, Richard Bourne, Theresa Storace and Claudia Griscti will be on show.
