Archbishop Paul Cremona will be visiting the Maltese resident in Luxembourg and Belgium next week, the Curia said.

He leaves on Sunday and on Monday will hold a meeting in Luxembourg with Maltese representatives in EU institutions, including Justices Anthony Borg Barthet and Ina Cremona, who serve in the European Court, and Josef Bonnici, who serves in the Court of Auditors.

On Tuesday he will be guest for the feast of St Willibrord in Echternach and will also meet Maltese parents and children at the European School. He will later celebrate Mass for the Maltese community in the crypt of Luxembourg Cathedral.

On Wednesday Mgr Cremona is due to meet Commissioner Joe Borg, Maltese MEPs and Malta’s permanent representative to the European Union, in Brussels.

He will call on the Bishop of Brussels on Thursday and later tour the European School and the offices of the Maltese representation and the embassy to Brussels.

In the evening he will celebrate Mass for the Maltese community in the Foyer Catholique European, 51 Rue de Comet.

He returns to Malta on Friday.
