Ta' Stronka medical stores in state of abandonment

I would like to appeal to the health authorities to spare some time for a visit to the medical stores at Madliena, to witness the state of abandonment of this storage area. The grounds are covered with overgrown weeds and ripe to be a nesting ground...

I would like to appeal to the health authorities to spare some time for a visit to the medical stores at Madliena, to witness the state of abandonment of this storage area. The grounds are covered with overgrown weeds and ripe to be a nesting ground for rats.

The boundary walls are in a deteriorating state and the roof of a room overlooking Ta' Stronka Road is being turned into a dumping area for unwanted material and other items.

It may be pertinent to highlight that the medical supplies are stored in large shipping containers, probably unwanted, which if I recall well, had been donated by Malta's friend, Muammar Gaddafi.

Incidentally, this army post has some historical value and there is no indication of any conservation plans for it.
