Is St Julians going the way of Paceville? (2)

On May 1 the residents of St Julians had to put up with loud music from down near the parking area at Spinola from 1 p.m. to the early hours. Phoning the police station at 11.45 p.m., I was told that the permit had been granted by the Malta Tourism Authority and had the blessing of the local council, whom I voted for.

How can we residents have faith in our council when it is already a big joke to find a place to park? Oops, it forgot to have residential parking!

Since when are permits granted for loud music when the neighbours have to get to work and school early the following morning?
