Dogs in Gozo
Hunting dogs are probably being dumped from Gozo to Malta but the SPCA has no place for them as they have to abide by EU rules.
It is about time the authorities did something for these beautiful creatures of God. How sad it is that the SPCA can only take in injured dogs. Must we wait for dogs to be run over to be picked up?

AMAZING WHAT A DOG EXPERT MR ALEX CALI IS !!!!
OR MAYBE THE DOGS TOLD HIM THEY ARE HUNTING DOGS. !!!!
What's funny though is that up to a few years ago, hunting and trapping were seen as part of the Maltese way of life. Now, we have qualified ornithologists condemning hunting everywhere. And mind you, the majority of these can't distinguish between a shotgun and an anti aircraft canon or a between quail and an eagle. Starting with revered bloggers who hit Beck at us regularly.
How have you come to the conclusion that "hunting dogs" are probably being dumped from Gozo to Malta? Are you assuming that hunters are so heartless?
We just adore our two dear hunting dogs. I assure you that the respect we show them and the way we treat them is exemplary and I honestly wish others will do the same, including those who protect the birds yet ignored the feelings of the hunting dogs. I can assure you that hunters adore their dogs, contrary to what you tried to make readers believe.
Some people will go to any length to tarnish the reputation of the Maltese Hunters!!
