The court heard how the incident happened at Balzan square late on Tuesday following an argument over a fake $100 bill.

Mr Farrugia himself was injured, allegedly in the same fight. He showed the court a scar from his right hand shoulder blade to his lower back and bruises on both arms and his face.

The six people allegedly involved in the incident were yesterday accused of injuring him.
