The Collegium Musicum has just ended a week-long tour in Italy singing at Masses and visiting sacred locations in Rome and its whereabouts.

The choir, which was accompanied by relatives, spiritual director Fr Albert Micallef and choir director Dion Buhagiar, also attended a Papal audience at St Peter's Square in the Vatican.

The Collegium Musicum is the resident choir of St John's co-Cathedral in Valletta.

To mark the 25th anniversary since its debut under the direction of Mro Buhagiar, the choir will be performing Haydn's Mass in Time of War (Paukenmesse) on May 29 at St John's Co-Cathedral, the very same piece of work that marked its debut in 1983.
