Seascape, the Pulitzer prize-winning play by Edward Albee, is being staged at St James Cavalier, Valletta, with a stellar cast. The romantic comedy, being presented by FM Productions, opens tomorrow and will run over three weekends - tomorrow till Sunday, May 16-18 and May 23-25.

The play focuses on Nancy and Charlie, an American couple on the verge of retirement who are also having problems in their relationship. They are discussing these matters on the beach when another very unusual, younger couple called Sarah and Leslie appears.

The play is almost impossible to pigeon-hole. It is a comedy but has elements of fantasy, satire and the absurd. Most of all, it is an interesting take on life as we know it... or perhaps don't.

The cast is made up of Edward Mercieca as Charlie, Denise Mulholland as Nancy, Pia Zammit as Sarah and Paul Portelli as Leslie.
