I refer to the letter by Marita Pace (Life Can Wait, April 25).

We would like to assure Ms Pace that the customer is always at the forefront of Vodafone's interest. Vodafone Malta blocks numbers reported stolen on request by our customers strictly on validation of client details.

I am sure that readers can understand that without such validations we cannot block any mobile service. Furthermore, most of the calls received at our Call Centre are answered within 20 seconds.

It is only in exceptional circumstances that customers wait in excess of 20 seconds.
