Migrants' boat intercepted

A dinghy carrying six men, five women and a child who appears to be sick, has been intercepted by an AFM patrol boat 24 miles off Wied iz-Zurrieq.

The boat is being escorted to land.

I agree with Mr Robert Dimech as these were going about with their business why intercept them and bring them in with the rate they are coming in I think we will have 2000 more by the end of summer . The ones that are supposed to help us combat this problem are the ones that call our authorities racist in their reports because our authorities feed them and give them a place to sleep .

Intercepted?! Whatever for? Weren't they going about their own business in international waters? Did they request assistance? Are we intercepting every vessel in our SAR area and hauling everybody in?!
