I would like to draw the attention of the new energetic Minister for Roads about two very important roads in San Ġwann which have been neglected for too long. These are Triq Tas-Sliema and Triq Tal-Balal which, being arterial roads, are the responsibility of the government.

Many have been the complaints about the very bad state of these two roads which are used by hundreds of cars every day. The former minister had promised to see to them by the end of last year but nothing has happened. Everybody had hoped that they'd be among the 450 streets which were supposed to have been seen to by the end of last year. I would like Minister Austin Gatt to take immediate action.
