Louis Bartoli of Iklin (Utilities Bills, April 5) had originally asked for an explanation as to why he had received a bill with arrears, while very clearly complaining that he did not receive an "original bill".
In my subsequent reply (April 24) I had said that our records show that all consumers in his area were sent bills every two months.
Mr Bartoli then complained (April 26) that he had received three bills dated January 28, February 20 and April 2.
It is obvious that his two letters contradict one another. And although I was slightly incorrect - in that the bills were sent at irregular rather than at two-month intervals - this technically had no bearing on the correspondent's complaint.
So I would like to reiterate that like hundreds of consumers do every week, Mr Bartoli is most welcome to contact us to query his bill, submit meter readings, report faults, lodge a complaint, etc. on freephone 80072222 and on our website , which also has an online payment facility.
