I booked in advance four tickets for Magical Musicals at the Teatru Aurora, Victoria held last week. The advance publicity asked the audience to be seated 10 minutes before the advertised start-time of 8 p.m.

From where I was sitting, in row G, it seemed that most of the audience had taken note of this. Apparently the Minister for Gozo had not been informed. She arrived with her party at 8.15 p.m. and they all passed down the central aisle, pausing to greet friends and acquaintances, before taking their seats in the front row.

Multiply the approximate audience of 350 by 25 minutes each and you can calculate how much of the public's time the late arrival of the Minister wasted. (To save you working it out, the total is more than six days!)
