Taliana-Gauci

Married recently at St Pius X Church, Sta Luċija were Gabriella Taliana, daughter of Frank and Carmen Taliana of Sta Luċija and Stefan Patrick Gauci, son of Robert and Mary Rose Gauci of San Ġwann.

Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Mgr Charles Cordina, assisted by Mgr Norry Bonavia and Fr Ivan Scicluna. Anton Taliana, the bride's brother and Gizelle Schembri, the groom's friend witnessed the ceremony. Shawn Schembri was best man.

The bride wore an ivory lace dress with a crushed silk train. She was attended by Marie Bernadette Collins, her sister as maid of honour, Adriana Collins and Laura Taliana as bridesmaids, Philippa Mizzi as flower girl, and Michael and Samuel Cutajar, and Thomas, James and Simon Mizzi as pageboys.

A dinner was later held at the Hilton Malta.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Genoa and Rome, followed by a Mediterranean cruise.
