The Friendship Group celebrated its 35th anniversary with a Thanksgiving Mass at Sarria church, Floriana, where the main celebrant was the Bishop of Gozo, Mario Grech.

The congregation included members, former members and a recently formed group from Gozo accompanied by Fr Jesmond Gauci. Bishop Grech concelebrated Mass with Fr Joseph Orr, SJ, director and founder of the group, and Fr Lino Spiteri, SJ, assistant director, among others.

After Mass, a reception was held at the Scouts headquarters, opposite Sarria church, and Bishop Grech was presented with a memento of the occasion by Vince Bartolo, a member of the Friendship Group.
