9.30 a.m. The Archbishop celebrates a Mass at St John's Co-Cathedral, to mark the opening of Parliament.

5.30 p.m. The Archbishop visits children and adolescents at the Attard primary school for an activity by the Focolari movement as part of the Run4Unity world-wide event.

7.30 The Archbishop, accompanied by youths, walks from the Archbishop's residence in Attard to the 2008 Pentecost vigil eucharistic celebration, in Victor Vassallo Street in Attard. Mass starts at 8 p.m.

11.15 The Archbishop initiates a Pentecostal night vigil by young people at Marsa Sports Centre.
