I write on behalf of Raw Bikers to publicly thank the Commissioner of Police for detailing four traffic policemen to direct traffic during our charity ride in aid of the Naxxar explosion victims last Sunday.

The policemen had a Herculean task in directing the flow of traffic for around 300 bikes that were part of this event which started at Luxol Grounds, Pembroke, and, after a brief stop in Naxxar, culminated in Baħrija. For the record, the sum of €3,024.55 was handed to Naxxar mayor Maria Fatima Deguara, to deposit in an account set up in relation to the Naxxar tragedy.
