I noted that at the crossings of Old Theatre Street and Old Bakery Street, there are no 'Stop signs'. There are no stop signs at any crossing of Old Theatre Street with the other roads either. In fact many of the intersections in the grid network in Valletta lack a 'Stop' sign.
I called the local council way back in November and then informed the Malta Transport Authority, and still no 'Stop' signs appeared. This is extremely dangerous as motorists proceeding in a straight line might think they have the right of way. Considering the money we have to pay to enter Valletta with the CVA system, the lack of 'Stop' signs is an outrageous oversight. They should be added, together with the appropriate road markings as soon as possible before a serious accident occurs.
