Champions Celtic came from behind to win 2-1 at Motherwell thanks to a late goal from Georgios Samaras and moved eight points clear of Rangers in the Scottish Premier League yesterday.
Chris Porter headed Motherwell in front on the hour but a minute later Scott McDonald nodded in from close range to equalise.
With 12 minutes left, Greek striker Samaras bundled the ball home from a metre following Barry Robson's corner.
Celtic now top the SPL standings with 83 points from 36 games, while Rangers are second on 75 from 32. Rangers travel to Hibernian today.
