Two weights, two measures, European style

I have a very soft spot for all living creatures especially dogs and needless to say, I am against hunting.

But certainly, the hypocricy of some wise men in Brussels has now reached unacceptable proportions. These wise men have made much a fuss about bird hunting in Malta. Agreed!

But have they ever seen the ordeal through which the poor bull has to go during the "sport" of bull fighting in Spain? Do they know that thousands of foxes are killed all over Europe every year? Have they ever seen that nauseating scene where two-footed humans are seen battering to agonising death seals whose innocent look at their murderers is enough to make you reach for the remote control and throw it at the TV set since the murdererd are far away?

But the peak of hypocrisy was reached when European "wise men" passed a motion urging member states to stop considering abortion a crime.

In simple language: If you kill a bird you are comitting a crime. If you murder your own unborn infant you are not! Unbelievable.
