I find myself in complete agreement with the letter from Richard A. Micallef - well said, sir.
If I understand correctly, homosexuals want the "right" to marry, inherit their partners and adopt and raise children - if not actually have them in the case of lesbians.
Well, marriage is a contract - they can enter into that, no problem. Inheritance? Coudn't be simpler, a quick hour at a notary and job done.
But when it comes to raising children, this goes against all natural and moral laws and can never be condoned. If nothing else, it would deny one of the providers of half a set of genes the right and responsibility to raise his or her progeny, which must perforce override any pretension by homosexual couples to a right nature itself did not give them.
Moreover, surely children themselves - over 90 per cent of which are born heterosexual - have an inalienable right to a heterosexual upbringing?
If homosexuals can at least accept one law of nature, there is no reason why we can't all live together in harmony.
