Migrants land at Wied iz-Zurrieq

A group of 27 illegal immigrants landed at Wied iz-Zurrieq this morning, the police.

The boat was the third to arrive with a similar number of persons on board this week.

The latest group included two women.

Meanwhile, a group of 15 migrants granted refugee status in Malta, left for resettlement in the United States this morning.

Looks like there are more coming than leaving. Why the UN does not resettle these poor people directly from Libya or wherever refugee settlement they come from, in Africa?

Better check shipping movement south of Malta . The photo on The Times recently does not show travel weary immigrants , just a little scared .
