Libyan suffers stab wound

A Libyan man resident at Attard is in danger of dying from a stab wound, the police said.

The man appeared to have been stabbed at his residence and was taken to hospital in the afternoon. A Maltese man is being held for questioning.

The police also reported that two Libyan men were slightly injured in the morning when they were attacked and robbed of a small amount of money in Swieqi.

The alleged case happened between 4-5 a.m. when the two were stopped in St Julians by a man armed with a knife, who asked for money. He followed them to Swieqi, where he attacked them and stole their money.

The two suffered slight injuries.
