The Malta Canine Society held its Spring Championship Dog Show over the weekend at the Cottonera Sports Complex.

For this show, the society invited Frida Marshall, an international judge from England, who judged over 240 dogs representing 44 breeds.

Mrs Marshall awarded Best In Show to Dennis and Cressida Sciberras's Boston terrier, Am.Ch. Bo-K's Walk In The Park while Stephen and Sonia Young's chihuahua, Ch. Widogi Rocket Man was awarded Reserve Best In Show.

The society is a founder member of The Maltese National Canine Federation, which is responsible for the registration and issue of pedigrees of dogs on the island.
