Maltese film at Asian festival

Malta will be represented for the first time in the 18th European Union Film Festival being held in Singapore on May 6.

The documentary-film Heroes In The Sky, produced by Maltese director Engelbert Grech, will featureamong other European entries from the UK, Germany, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Hungary, Ireland, Poland, Romania, Spain and Sweden.

John Farrugia, from the Maltese Consulate in Singapore, said this would be a great opportunity for Malta to get exposure within Asia and for the film industry within Malta.
