Archbishop Paul Cremona has visited Strickland House as part of a series of visits to work places to mark May 1 - feast of St Joseph the Worker.

Strickland House is the home of the Allied Group, publishers of The Times, The Sunday Times and timesofmalta.com, as well as Progress Press and MediaMaker.

Earlier in the morning Mgr Cremona had an enthusiastic welcome when he visited the Valletta open market, where he chatted with stall owners and shoppers. He also visited Cordina Cafe'.

His visit to Strickland House comes seven years after a similar visit by his predecessor, Mgr Joseph Mercieca.

Mgr Cremona was greeted and shown around by Vincent Buhagiar, Managing Director of Allied Newspapers Ltd, Adrian Hillman, Managing Director of Progress Press Ltd, Austin Bencini and Ronald Agius, Directors, and Matthew Naudi, Group Human Resources Manager.

He celebrated Mass in the chapel of Strickland House.
