Iraqi Children's Day
Children applaud as balloons and pigeons are released during celebrations for the first Iraqi Children's Day in Baghdad yesterday. More than 500 orphaned children attended the event, organised by the Red Crescent and Al-Arabiya television station, to help raise funds to build schools for the children.
