Meridiana wine estates hosted a dinner at the Blue Elephant Restaurant to serve as a taster for its upcoming Astarte wine. A number of personalities were treated to the pre-launch of the new wine by Meridiana, which produces 120,000 bottles of wine per year.

Astarte is a light-coloured wine, easy to drink, crisp, with a citrus and apricot-like flavour. It is produced from a novel blend of Vermentino, Chardonnay and other Mediterranean varieties, all farmed and vinified under Meridiana's well-known standards.
