Married on Easter Sunday, at St Leonard parish church, Kirkop, were Doreen Debono, daughter of Joseph and Mary Debono of Luqa and Kevin Paul Ellul, BA (Hons) Accty, FIA, CPA, son of Rocco and Carmen Ellul of Kirkop.

Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Carmel Camilleri and assisted by Fr John Curmi. Noel Debono and Carmel Schembri FIA, CPA, FCCA, witnessed the ceremony. Carmelo Debono was best man.

The bride wore a white satin gown adorned by beads and pearls, complemented by a Swarovski Tiara and sapphire white gold jewellery which was given as a wedding gift by the groom. She was attended by Maria Debono and Marilyn Theuma as Maids of Honour, Rebecca and Alessia as bridesmaids, Ylenia as flower girl and Matteo as pageboy.

A reception was later held at Salone Delle Rose, Tarxien.
