GWU remembers workplace victims

The Institute for Health and Safety - Turu Micallef, on behalf of the General Workers' Union, will today join trade unions around the world to honour employees who died as a result of occupational accidents.

Together with personalities, the institute will reflect on how such tragedies can be eliminated.

A commemorative Mass will be held at the GWU building in Valletta tomorrow for members. On Tuesday, John Grech from Audioworks will chair a group discussion on the dangers of noise and assessing its risks.
