Highgrove - the new residential development having 69 apartments, maisonettes and penthouses in L-Ibraġ - received an enthusiastic response during its official launch earlier this month.

Over 95 real estate agents were present for the breakfast meeting at Intercontinental Malta. Highgrove is a project of Casvel Ltd, a joint venture between Paul Vella of Ħal Mann Investments Ltd and George Cassar and the team at LLMA and Trusted Ltd - Lawrenz Cassar, Graham Formosa and Kenneth Debattista.

Keith Pillow, from Duplex Real Estate Branding, entrusted by Casvel with the branding and marketing of the development, introduced the project to estate agents.

Highgrove, he explained, is "one of the best projects in L-Ibraġ and is the result of a detailed market study". Located behind the parish church, Highgrove comprises seven blocks of not more than 10 three-bedroomed maisonettes, apartments and penthouses, designed for family living.

Among the features of the development are well planned facilities, like clearly designated drying areas and space for outdoor air-conditioning units, and a high standard of finish. This includes lifts from garage levels to all floors, double main security doors, intercom facilities, marble staircases, graffiato, galvanised metal railings, high quality aluminium apertures, non-slip terrace tiles and solid doors.

Other features include top quality sanitary ware and tiles, full preparation for appliances and emergency drains in bathrooms. All this is being offered as a standard package. However, should clients wish to change any of the internal finishes, this is possible at the client's expense.

"Together with the architect, the developers have made sure that living at Highgrove is truly a picture-perfect living experience for families," Mr Pillow said. The development will be fully constructed in shell form by the end of October and the first units will be ready by March 2009, with the development fully complete by the end of next year.
