Teachers' union orders strike at Mcast

All lecturing staff at Mcast will go on strike between 8 and 10 a.m. on Wednesday, the Malta Union of Teachers (MUT) said yesterday.

The union added that it will ensure its full protection to all the lecturing staff adhering to the strike action.

According to the MUT, its officials and Mcast delegates from the Malta College of Arts Design and Technology Institute yesterday discussed the last revised agreement as proposed by the college. After taking into account all the prevailing circumstances including recent developments, the MUT considered the agreement proposed as unacceptable, the union said.
