Some months ago I had written in one of my letters in The Times that while on a shooting trip in Scotland we were encouraged by the gamekeeper to shoot at honey buzzards (not that we did).

A Scottish lady had answered me and called me so many names that I can't even remember them all. She said I was a liar and that they have very strict laws in Scotland and they are not savages like us and that everyone observes the law.

Well here is her answer: The truth will always come out, as will the truth about Birdlife Malta. To all the non-Maltese, especially the British, I say you should see what happens in your country first and then condemn us.
