Last weekend, the Malta Rugby Football Union hosted the final round of the Rugby Sevens 2007-2008 League for juniors at Marsa.

Alligators played Sharks in an U-15 league match and both teams produced a massive performance. The final score was 15-all but it was enough for Alligators to clinch the top position.

In the U-17 league, Stompers beat Sharks 50-0. Sharks then played Alligators, both teams looking to stay in contention. Alligators finished the stronger as they ran in three converted tries to win the match 33-17.

In the decisive match, Alligators led Stompers 12-5 at half-time.

Stompers pressed forward after the break to get back in the match. In the end, however, it was Alligators who came out on top 17-5 to claim the U-17 title.

Sunday morning play was reserved for the U-13s as Falcons played Alligators in the last match of the season.

Alligators scored some fine tries by making use of the whole width of the pitch. At half-time they led 15-0.

Falcons started the second half better, the ball was moved wide to their speedy winger for a certain score only to be tackled before he managed to hit the ground.

But, Alligators used the ball well by moving forward with supporting players to receive the final pass and score more tries.

Falcons kept battling but Alligators stopped them from getting any points on the day. Final score: 30-0.
