The Malta Union of Teachers (MUT) has directed all members of the teaching grades working at the Naxxar Boys Secondary School to follow a work-to-rule directive as from Monday.

The union said that it has taken such a measure in view of the recent incidents concerning various members of the staff at the school. Incidents of bullying and violence against members of staff have been reported there recently.

The MUT said it will monitor the situation closely and will decide whether the directives will be lifted or incremented in the coming weeks.
