Utilities bills sent regularly
Louis Bartoli of Iklin (Utilities Bill, April 5) asked for an explanation as to why he had received a bill with arrears, while never having received "the original bill". Our records show that all consumers in his area have been sent bills every two months.
I would like to remind readers that they may query their bill, submit meter readings, report faults, etc. on freephone 8007 2222 and on our website www.wsc.com.mt, which, by the way, also has an online payment facility.

I find that a better system is as we do here in the UK that is a direct debit system, your average useage over a year is worked out and then you pay a set ammount each month, if you go into credit this is used over the heaviest period ie. the winter therefore you always know what your bills will be, if you do over run then you just increase your monthly payment until the overun is cleared. It also save keep going to the office to pay your quarterly bill as it is automatically taken each month by the bankk and utility company.
This can be done for any service.
