On Friday, April 18, at the Corradino sports pavillion, a boxing tournament was organised between Maltese and British teams. I'm sure there were many obstacles that the organisers had to overcome for the night.

All the Maltese boxers showed enthusiasm and determination. Their coaches must feel proud. A special mention must go towards Byron Zarb. Not only did he win his bout (with a technical knock-out) but did so in style. Overall, it was a great show by one and all and I feel confident that this performance will only encourage our young athletes to train harder for future tournaments.
