Vladmir Forte, in his contribution Harassed (April 18), forgot to inform readers how many times he experienced the story he recalled, or corroborate it with other similar incidents he knows of. He also preferred to be diplomatic and define the people who committed the offence as Africans. May I add to Mr Forte's recommendations to urge the authorities, the Church, and all to be smarter and act on all forms of similar actions, whether by Africans or others.

I take Mr Forte's word but strive to believe that his comments have no racist origins.
