Hompesch Road accident
A young woman was slightly injured in a traffic accident yesterday afternoon.
The woman, 20, of Marsascala, was a passenger in a Peugeot 106 which collided with a Land Rover in Hompesch Road, Żabbar. There were no other injuries in the accident which happened at about 3.30 p.m. Civil Protection Department personnel had to be called so that the woman could be freed from the wreckage. The road was temporarily closed to traffic.
This was the second traffic accident in Hompesch Road in less than 24 hours.
