The Point Break Restuarant and Lounge Bar in Għadira Bay, celebrated its second anniversary with an evening of four different cultures and tastes from around the world.

The premises were decorated with flags, posters and other icons that represent the Maltese, Italian, Spanish and Australian cultures.

The event started at 5 p.m. with servings of Maltese traditional platters, including snails, potatoes filled with Maltese sausage, and rolls with bigilla and goat cheese prepared by the Point Break chef Patrick Mangion. Wines from the Meridiana vineyards accompanied the Maltese platters. A selection of Italian delights were served such as cherry tomatoes filled with mozzarella and grissini with parma ham and bruschetta. Donna Fugata wines were also served.

Spanish food like chorizo wraps and spicy chicken accompanied by wines from the Torres Family were also provided.

From Australia, kangaroo meat and other Aussie delicacies complemented by wines from the Rosemount Estate were served.

Local DJ Tony Tony turned the tables throughout the event.
