The Maltese Diabetes assocaition recently held its annual fund-raising dinner at the Grand Ball Room, Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort.

Over 300 guests were treated to a five course dinner.

The dinner was held under the patronage of John Dalli, Minister for Social Policy.

Chris J. Delicata, vice president of the association, said the proceeds will be used to assist the association in promoting the importance of diabetes prevention.

Mr Dalli underlined the government's commitment in the health sector and looked forward to working together for the benefit of the community.
