After giving me 29 years of solid and faithful service I was forced to turn in my vehicle to a scrapyard, six months before the expiry date of my vehicle road licence.

Since the insurance company refunded me, without any let or hindrance, with the amount for the unused insurance coverage, I also sought a refund from Transport Authority (ADT) for the unused period during which my vehicle would no longer be on the road.

A reply from ADT said that my "request for refund on the vehicle road licence is not acceded to".

Now if this is not daylight robbery I do not know what is.
