The school council of Primary School 'A', Grognet Street, Mosta, which forms part of Maria Regina College, has taken the initiative of inviting the pupils' parents to come to the school on Thursday between 9 a.m and 3 p.m. to donate blood.

The school explained that the idea was to offer parents the opportunity to give a gift with a difference in view of the current great need for blood and in same spirit that children offer gifts to their mothers on Mothers Day.
