Forget about humble spaces. For some companies, the office address on their business card is part of their corporate image. Location says it all: the Valletta Waterfront is historical, central, almost a status symbol.
When VISET, operators of the Valletta Waterfront, tastefully transformed the formerly neglected merchant warehouses full of character into honey spots for buzzing patrons looking for entertainment in pleasant surroundings, life began returning to the Valletta Waterfront. The location is now attracting businesses seeking an important address as part of their package.
"The Waterfront is a magnificent location offering immeasurable potential," said Chris Paris, VISET's general manager.
"We know this through the feedback we constantly receive from tenants already doing business here and companies that approach us to set up shop here. The interest is tremendous. The port of Valletta is internationally recognised for its beauty and history; for certain companies, operating from this address is a statement of meaningful quality and importance."
There are a number of office spaces available for lease at the Valletta Waterfront that can accommodate a select number of companies, most of them with a sea view. So far, a number of local and foreign companies operate from the Valletta Waterfront, including the Malta Communications Authority, Virtù Ferries, Harbour Air, Charts Investments, and various others.
The space available is at Pinto Vaults and Forni Complex. Both options offer close proximity to the capital Valletta and other industrial and commercial clusters without being at the heart of the chaos these concentrated locations carry; they also provide close access to and availability of a wide range of hospitality and leisure facilities; and an appealing working environment for company management and staff.
The 250-year-old historic Pinto Vaults, with open views and terraces over the majestic Grand Harbour, have been only recently restored to their former glory to offer spaces with versatile and scalable layout options.
Offices at Forni Complex are professionally finished with bathroom and kitchenette facilities. Some spaces offer views and balconies over the Grand Harbour, Fort St Angelo and the Three Cities."This is about location. We are excited to be in a position to rent out part of Malta's prime site in its original design but restored to the best standards to offer modern facilities needed by commercial tenants to run successful business," said Mr Paris.
