Melita has announced that two of its popular carrier channels will be rebranding and changing their look from tomorrow.

Discovery World will replace Discovery Civilisation on Melita Digital Channel 451. Discovery World is a brand new channel showcasing a rich and colourful selection of high quality factual programmes from around the globe.

BBC World will be renamed BBC World News on Melita Digital Channel 400. This change will be accompanied by a refreshed channel logo and on-air graphics. The move follows research which revealed the new brand name to be more effective in conveying the content of the channel to audiences. BBC World News will continue to show programmes such as Click and Hardtalk as well as its popular weekend documentaries.
