A 21-year-old man from Żabbar was yesterday charged with possessing and trafficking in heroin in circumstances denoting it was not for his personal use.

Manuel Cachia appeared before Magistrate Lawrence Quintano and charged with being in possession of and trafficking in the drug on and before October, 9, 2005. Mr Cachia was also charged with relapsing and breaching the conditions of a previous release.

Police Inspector Pierre Grech prosecuted.
