The General Workers' Union said it will be declaring an industrial dispute with ST Microelectronics on Monday over what it claims are unpaid bonuses and wage increases agreed in the collective agreement.

The union said it will be convening the main workers' committee on Monday to register the dispute. The dispute revolves around wage increases and bonuses which were supposed to have been paid last month as stipulated by the collective agreement, the union said.

When contacted, the company said the official who could comment on the matter was unavailable.
