At your service
I would like to publicly thank Albert Gauci Cunningham for his recent complimentary letter about St Paul's Bay local council being partly administered by a young team of councillors, among whom I am the mayor.
Having been elected directly by the electorate as the mayor, I was given the role to work for the benefit of our locality. With this in mind I am willing to listen to and receive any suggestions in order for me and the rest of the councillors to achieve good results for the benefit of all.

Well, since you're asking................why not start with resurfacing properly a number of streets?
I have in mind St George's Street, particularly the stretch between the HSBC branch and the GO premises. The surface is caving in in several places; water seeps out from damaged pipes (today I witnessed this in front of GO) and no amount of patching up can substitute for a proper rehabilitation. And please concentrate on residential areas rather than commercial Bugibba. And by the way, congratulations to both yourself and your father!
