Buġibba in the last few years lost a considerable number of hotel beds to make way for brand new apartments. These bed numbers have to increase again to at least their past figures. Some have suggested that existing hotels be allowed to build a few more floors, others that government-owned sites be developed into hotels.

Whatever the means, Buġibba simply needs more tourists to sustain its business community.

This I would class as important as the promised new sandy beach and embellished promenade.
