However, Mepa practises and enjoys another and most disturbing luxury, that of being downright illogical and without showing any qualms for it. It brazenly sacrifices the protection of the environment in outside development zones by approving large-scale new developments, such as supermarkets and discotheques while, at the same time, obstructing the urgent repairs to the collapsing roof of a small 40-year-old agricultural room, appearing on its own survey sheet 3882/1967, on the incredible supposition that this could be incorrect!
